2010 Newport Beach Film Festival

Each session is about 45 minutes long and consists of a fully qualified instructor and sponsored rider offering skateboarding tuition, safety advice and a skate demonstration.

All the safety gear is supplied and skateboards are waiting. Whether you have never stood on a plank before or you just want to perfect those flips, LCB provides an informed lesson catered to your needs.

It works on a first come first serve basis in groups of 4. We can run a number of sessions to accommodate larger numbers.
And no need to worry about rain, as we have our own sheltered ramp for teaching or just plain shredding, available ALL DAY EVERY DAY!

Alright the kick flip is a pretty awesome looking trick. Before atempting a kickflip you should definitly be comfortable doing ollies on your skateboard. Here are are aslo some other tricks i recommend learning before a kickflip. BacksidePop-shove-it, Ollie, manuel, Backside 180.

1) Move at a moderatly comfortable speed.

2) Place your back foot flat on the tale ( like you would on an ollie) and place your front foot at a 45 dergree angle pointing in front of yo, haveingthe heel of your front foot hanging off the edge of the board.

3) Pop the board like you would on a ollie and slide your front foot up, but instead of stopping continue sliding it up and flick your foot at the nose of the skateboard. Make sure you flick your foot out on the heel side. This flicking motion will cause the board to flip.

4) suck your legs in as high as possible allowing the board to spin under you. Also focus on keeping the board under you.

5) Once the board has done one full spiral roation stomp on the board to catch it . Straighten out your legs to get ready for landing.

6) suck in the impact and ride away clean.

7) Congradualtions you just landed a kickflip!
